Description
The Vitoria Bike Tour starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. We will get on the bikes and pedal through the medieval center of the city, one of the best preserved in the north of the Iberian Peninsula.
We will walk through the main streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz passing in front of such emblematic buildings as the Palace of Bendaña,which houses the Fournier Museum of Cards, or the Escoriaza-Esquivel Palace, which was ordered to be built by the doctor of kings Henry VIII of England and Charles V.
We will also stop in front of St. Mary’s Cathedral, better known as the Old Cathedral, and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With a little more leg movement we will cross the neighborhood of Zaramaga to reach the park of Arriaga, the largest in the city of Vitoria.
Inside the park you will enjoy a bike ride between trees, paths and even a small lagoon. Also, you can see there the exterior of the hermitage of San Juan de Arriaga.
We will finish the bike tour of Vitoria at 21:30 hours in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, knowing much more about the history and curiosities of this city.
